What we do

At Take Time to Talk, we offer a range of confidential talking therapies and support. Our primary care liaison team is made up of community mental health nurses and a consultant psychiatrist, who work with you and your GP to identify what kind of support and services you’d benefit from.

The team provides screening, assessment and advice to help you get the right care and support. If you have more complex mental health needs the service will work with other mental health services, GPs, therapists and counsellors. If you’re happy for the team to do so they will help your friends and family to support you too.

All of our services are listed below, to find out more about each service, click the relevant box. If you still have further questions about what we do, please refer to our FAQ’s page.

Opt-in

Self referral is where you sign up to receive the help and support you want and need. You can sign up by filling in and submitting a self referral form. For more information on self referral, please see our self referral page.

You can speak to your GP about your needs first if you prefer. They can then refer you to the service, although sending us your form via the website is the quickest and most direct way to self refer.

To opt-in to this service you must be registered with a GP in the Kensington and Chelsea, Queen’s Park or Paddington area.
